I find renewed joy, hope and strength in knowing that God hears and answers prayer. Isaiah 65:24 states this, “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. (KJV) God has never broken His promises. The word of God is true and the word of God is sure. I believe that when we pray, God hears not just our words but He hears our heart and he has promised us that He hears us when we pray. And, He not only hears us, but He answers our prayers. He knows what we stand in need of before we ask, but He is waiting for us to ask for His help.

“What a friend we have in Jesus? All our sins and griefs to bear.
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.
Oh, what peace we often forfeit?
Oh, what needless pains we bear?
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.”
