Attitude of Gratitude

I will have an attitude of gratitude, from this day forward. No longer will I harbor ill feelings towards others. I will bless them and ask God to shower them with favor and blessings, peace, joy and love. Father, help me to have a loving heart and a pleasant disposition. No longer will I dwell on what I perceive others think of me. I desire your utmost approval and I want to be pleasing in your sight.

As I look back over my life, I have a lot to be thankful for. I am thankful for my life and the fact that you have allowed me to see one more day. I thank God for my parents. They weren’t perfect, but they were right for me. They were good to me and my siblings. They taught us to love God and to treat others the way we want to be treated. They taught us to be honest, law abiding and to work hard. I am thankful for my 3 siblings. I have a very close relationship with each one of them.

I thank God for my children and my grandchildren. I have been truly blessed and my heart is full. I love them unconditionally, similar to the love that God has for me.

Father God, you have loved me with the purest, most sincere love of all. And for that, I love you more and more each day. I can’t wait to see you face to face and to live in your presence forever more. Amen!
