Books I Recommend – Maximize The Moment
Maximize The Moment by T.D. Jakes is my book recommendation, for this week.We need to revive the art of reading. Knowledge is power and contrary to some critics, what you don’t know can hurt you. I found this book worth reading! It talks about how to take advantage of every opportunity that God places in your path, with a sense of urgency. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised. All we have is right now. Commit to utilizing your time to the fullest. – jacquelineswow
Happy Thanksgiving
I am thankful that I serve a risen Saviour.
I am thankful that I am living, breathing and moving, on my own accord.
I am thankful for having a sound mind, and the ability to make sound decisions.
I am thankful for my health and strength.
I am thankful for the activity of my limbs; for eyes to see, ears to hear, legs to walk and a mouth to talk.
I am thankful that I am loved, I am blessed, I am protected, and I am redeemed.
I am thankful for unfailing love.
I am thankful for my family: my husband, children, grands and siblings.
I am thankful for my friends.
I am thankful for freedom.
I am thankful for the peace that surpasses all understanding.
I am thankful for joy unspeakable, and full of glory.
I am thankful that I can provide for myself.
I am thankful for food on my table, shelter and clothes on my back.
I am thankful for every kind act that has ever been extended to me.
I am thankful for you, too.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM ME AND MY FAMILY, TO YOU AND YOURS!
Comfort Zone
I used to have a comfort zone where I knew I couldn’t fail; the same four walls and busy work were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things I’d never done before, but I stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor.
I said it didn’t matter that I wasn’t doing much, I said I didn’t care for things like diamonds, furs and such.
I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone, but deep inside me, I longed for something special of my own.
I couldn’t let my life go by just watching others win. So I held my breath, I stepped outside, and let the change begin.
I took a step and with it found strength I’d never felt before.
I kissed my comfort zone good-bye and closed and locked the door.
If you are in a comfort zone, afraid to venture out, remember that all winners were at one time filled with doubt.
A step or two and words of praise can make your dreams come true.
Greet your future with a smile, success is there for you!
